The Incredible Adventures Of Captain P
Escapism

In 2017 Fred P released his second Captain P album here's what mixmag had to say about it. Fred Peterkin, aka Fred P, has just dropped a short film, along with the release of his seventh studio album ‘Escapism’, which came out today on his Soul People Music label, under his Captain P moniker. Peterkin edited and narrated the film – ‘The Incredible Adventures of Captain P: Escapism’ – a 23-minute clip which shows the US producer in different cities around the world and features tour footage and his own poetic monologues. The video opens by defining ‘escapism’ as: “A habitual diversion of the mind to purely imaginative activity or entertainment as an escape from reality or routine”, echoing the album’s dreamy, personal style.
